We received correspondence from Nena Pestano who is the Community Development Manager for Oshawa Donor Centre, She reached out in the hopes that you may be able to support and promote the importance of blood donation within your company. It is typically more challenging to collect blood during the spring and summer months so we must count on the support of our Durham community to ensure hospitals have the vital products needed for everyday care and emergencies.
She was inquiring if we would consider organizing a group donation, adopting a day to promote our cause, or simply share about the ongoing need for blood donation.
