As a reminder, the upcoming election for the positions of Secretary Treasurer and Recording Secretary will be on Saturday, January 29th 2022 9:00am-4:00 pm.
The deadline to complete your Member in Good Standing Form (Membership Online Local Application Form as referenced on the CUPE 218 website) in order to be eligible to vote in this election has been extended to Wednesday, January 26th at 11:59 p.m. If you have any questions regarding the form, please reach out to the local office or email john.quarrie@cupe218.ca.
On the day of the election, Members in Good Standing will receive instructions at their CUPE 218 email address with how to cast their vote via the e-mail or phone-in option. Please ensure that you have access to your CUPE email ahead of time, as the Election Committee is unable to reset passwords. If you are experiencing issues with your email, please reach out to the local office for support ahead of the weekend. If you run into other problems with the Simply Voting platform on Saturday between 9:00am and 4:00pm, please email john.quarrie@cupe218.ca
