Re: DCDSB School closures – update

Thank you for those custodians that made it in this morning to complete some of the safety checks and work on the snow removal.

For our afternoon staff, as more of the local roads have been cleared, please safely make your way into work for the start of your shift. Once on site please use the time to assist the work the chief custodians started by clearing any excess snow and ice from all exit/entrance doors to ensure safe access for the full return of staff and students tomorrow. If you have portables, childcares entrances or kindergarten yards, please check those areas for additional snow and ice removal. Once you have completed this work and made sure the building is safe and secure for staff and students coming in tomorrow you can safely return home.

Thank you for your support in getting the schools ready.
Regards.
Scott.
