I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
Please note that we need to complete everyone’s vacation requests for the remainder of the year up to and including December 2020. We did receive most of your requests before March break, but due to the COVID19 situation we have not processed all of the requests. Some of you did not send in your request for vacation and you are advised to do this by no later than next Friday May 8, 2020 at 4pm.
For those of you who sought permission to change your vacation days between March 15 – May 31 you are required to re-submit your new request for vacation days by no later than Friday, May 8th at 4pm. If you used vacation days during this period those days will be debited from your vacation allotment.
For anyone else that has already submitted their requests for vacation dates after May 31st, we will review those requests along with these new submissions and return your approvals by no later than May 31st.
The Board is encouraging all staff to use up most of their vacation entitlement during the months of June, July and August this year. Please note the week before we return to school on September 8th will be very limited for vacation approvals.
Vacation requests as outlined above are to be sent in to your SQS, if you do not have the vacation request form or the ability to print and fill it out, an email to your SQS will suffice at this time.
